A native of Sibley, MS, Zelda moved to Houston, TX in 1988 along with her husband and 3 lovely daughters. After achieving her lifelong goal of working in the IT department of local Oil Company, Zelda realized her passion for helping people and felt directed to leave and pursue a career in Real Estate. In addition, Zelda is very active in ministry at her church and serves as a facilitator at the Inspire Women Institute.

Zelda received her initial training from Champions School of Real Estate but due to daily changes in the Real Estate industry, Zelda finds it necessary to stay informed by taking classes online and in the classroom setting regularly. Zelda has obtained designations as an Accredited Real Estate Professional (A-REP), Texas Affordable Housing Specialist (TAHS), Short Sale Foreclosure Resource (SFR), Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), attended the Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI), and received the Certified Distress Real Estate Specialist (CDRS) certifications. In addition, Zelda is a member of National Association of Realtors (NAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR), Houston Association of Realtors (HAR), Real Estate Professional Society (REPS) and Houston Real Estate Association (HREA). Several of Zelda's greatest business accomplishments in Real Estate has been her representation of several builders and a formal alliance through a Fully Executed Promotional Service Agreement between herself and Bank of America.

Johnson Development has over 30 years of residential and commercial real estate sales, along with real estate development experience. The firm brings a very strong background in community development for social, governmental, for profit and non-profits entities. With projects ranging from single family and multifamily homes to SRO Units, retail, social and religious center developments. As a Broker – Developer, Mr. Johnson also serves his diverse client base as an Owner's Representative and Project Manager. He freely shares this knowledge with all staff members in order to maintain the office professionalism expected from all clients.

Our Broker of Record is Courtney Johnson Rose. She has served on the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Strategic Planning Board for 2007-09, NAR's Visitability in Housing Board, and has been appointed to the Houston Association of Realtors Board of Directors.

Zelda has been one of the top selling agents at the George E. Johnson Development Real Estate office receiving monthly recognition for her residential sales. She was awarded the 2009 Residential Sales Associate of the Year and Top Sales Associate for 2nd Quarter 2010 at GEJ Development.

Zelda has dedicated herself to providing measurably better service to all her buyers and sellers throughout Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. Presently she is working with the National Association of REALTORS® and the National Housing Conference for "Bring Workers Home: 2010 Regional Forum on Workforce Housing" to explore a core set of issues including: How to create and sustain a workforce housing program in the community. The Forum examines the importance of advancing workforce housing through local and regional partnerships while exploring workforce housing issues from perspective employers.

Since 2005 Zelda has volunteered with different non-profit organizations to help educate first time home buyers in the home buying process. She works with clients and assist in monthly training programs of organizations such as The Acre Homes CDC, ACORN Housing Program, Third Ward Re-Ward CDC, Greater Houston Housing Initiative, and The Home of Your Own Program (HOYO) through the United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Houston, Inc. There's not enough room to detail the vast amount of service and dedication provided by Zelda to her clients.
